Flickr
Flickr is such a cool program. I did not realize that all my pictures, that have been sent to me through emails, were being saved. It is nice to know that there is a program that I can access on any computer to view those pictures. The slide show part is fun because slide shows are always enjoyable to watch. I think they will be useful in a classroom because you are able to put a bunch of pictures together to show your students while talking about what is going on in each one. Also, you will not have to open different pages for the pictures to show. They will all be on that one slide show. It is important that the students do not view any of your personal pictures because they may be inappropriate for them to see. Flickrslide.com allows you to decide which pictures will be seen by the students, and which pictures will be hidden from them. This program is not that difficult to figure out, and hopefully it will be used in future classrooms.

You've brought up an important point about Flickr and Flickr Slidr slide shows. A slide show in your blog can also be used as a classroom presentation tool. With an LCD projector, a teacher could run the slide show and talk about or discuss the images with his/her class in real time. Of course, this could be done within Flickr itself, but if you post these Flickr Slidr slide shows in a class blog, the students would have the advantage of reviewing them individually at home or at a later time, and they wouldn't need to go into your Flickr account to do so. Nice idea!
